I’m excited to announce that my book, The Not So Subtle Art of Caring: Letters on Leadership has moved to the next phase of production. Letters cleared the first round of copy editing at my publisher, John Hunt Publishing, this weekend.
Now, I get my last crack at reviewing the copy editor’s changes as well as making any other adds, deletions or edits of my own. After this, I will be officially done with the writing process for the book. After this, Letters will go into a 9 month or so production, sales and marketing process prior to its release late this Fall.
It’s been a lot of fun writing Letters. I’ve learned a great deal and am excited to know that all of the things that I believe in will soon be shared with so many other people. I’d like to thank people like Linda Hoptry, Michelle Dukeman, Marty Connor and others who encouraged me all these years to do something like this – you were right. Thanks also to Paul Szentkiralyi who has not only become my developmental editor but also my friend.
